This is what we’re all in interested in. What are we getting for the money and is it worth it?

- Busy Facial Wipes – My friend tested one and immediately bought them. It’s safe to say these were a hit!
- Floss Brighten Up Highlighter – A good quality, shimmery highlighter.
- DHC Deep Cleansing Oil – I’m a big fan of oil cleansing and this is a good brand.
- R+CO Gemstone Shampoo + Conditioner – Not enough product to really judge it beyond the smell. It has good reviews, but at $68 for the set it’s pricey.
- Kiehl’s Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleansing Masque – Normally, I love Kiehl’s, but this retails for $26 for 0.95 Fl oz. It’s Kaolin and Bentonite with aloe further down the ingredient list, none of which are particularly expensive. It’s a nice product, but I wouldn’t buy it for myself.
Final Thoughts
This wasn’t my favorite box. It doesn’t have the high value of the Allure box, but the products sent out are more affordable if you want to buy full-sized versions.
The value is hard to judge because these are mostly samples, but the Floss Highlighter alone is worth more than I paid for the box. The Busy wipes are about $1 a piece. The overall value is probably in the $30-40 range.
As for the face mask, Cetaphil has a comparable product for less. There are plenty of options out there that aren’t over $27/ounce. Plus, clay masks are really easy to make!
Mix 1 tablespoon of clay (Kaolin, Bentonite, or a combination from this sample pack) with water, aloe vera leaf juice, or cold tea until you get a paste. That’s pretty much it. You can mix, match, and customize it with all kinds of ingredients for various skin concerns. I’ll leave that for the beauty bloggers to dive into though.
Overall, it’s a good value and a decent box. It’s just not as flashy and value-packed as some of the competitors.
