Are you a LEGO enthusiast? Do you want to continuously expand your collection with custom pieces and kits?

Are you tired of having to go to toy conventions and scour through stores?

Or maybe you’re a parent who enjoys LEGOs and wants to bring the joy of building blocks to your kids.

If you fit the bill of any of these, then you’ll probably appreciate Brick Loot and what they offer all LEGO lovers out there.

How Does Brick Loot Work?

brick loot logoBrick Loot is a box subscription company that provides a monthly loot box that contains LEGO and LEGO-compatible pieces.

Subscribers receive a monthly box filled with unique, custom-made, and never-before-seen pieces that work for both LEGOs and custom building.

Each monthly loot box contains 4-8 items that are hand-picked by brick specialists that scour the globe for the newest and unique pieces every LEGO collection should have.

To subscribe, you need to visit their website, register for your subscription account, select your desired payment plan, and wait for your monthly loot box to arrive in the mail; all loot boxes ship out on the 10th of the month.

Types of Blocks Available

While Brick Loot has multiple products available at their store for all your LEGO needs, their primary offering is their subscription boxes, which contains between four and eight of the following:

  • LEGO Accessories
  • LEGO kits by famous designers
  • LEGO-compatible products
  • Custom kits with LEGO bricks
  • Custom LEGO mini-figures
  • Brick Loot exclusives

One of the best things about Brick Loot boxes is that from time to time, you receive brick items that haven’t even been released to the market yet, which make them invaluable to LEGO enthusiasts.

Each month is a different theme, and all subscription holders will know ahead of time what it will be…but the specific contents are always a surprise, of course.

Pricing

Brick Loot offers several payment options:

  • 1 month = $27.28/month
  • 3 months = $25.98/month
  • 6 months = 25.48/month
  • 1 year = 24.88/month

Do note that the cost of shipping is not factored into those prices, and depends on where you live: $6 in the United States, $13 for Canada, and $15 outside of North America.

Subscriptions renew automatically based on the plan that you select.

Brick Loot mentions that the retail value of each box is roughly $45+; this emphasizes the worth of each loot box, as the most expensive 1-month subscription rate only costs $33.28 with shipping.

And consider, too, that the inclusion of exclusives and items that have not been released to the market yet increases the subjective value of these boxes even further for LEGO enthusiasts.

Company History

Brick Loot was the brain-child of a 9-year-old boy named Parker Krex back in 2015.

His deep love for LEGO began when he was only three years old, receiving his very first set.

By the age of 4, Parker had started doing reviews of his LEGO sets on YouTube—and thus began his passion for sharing his LEGO passion with the world.

The company itself would not come into being until Parker turned nine years old.

After being disappointed at the contents of a geek/gamer subscription box he received for his birthday, he wondered how awesome it would be if he received a box filled with custom LEGO kits every month.

That led to an “Aha” moment, and together with his mother, they developed the business plan for the company in their garage over a weekend.

Parker then presented his business plan through a “Shark Tank”-style pitch to his first investor—his dad—and thus Brick Loot was born.

Over the past four years, with his parents managing the company and Parker leading the content and design search for their custom LEGO kits, Brick Loot’s product offerings continue to grow outside of their subscription boxes.

Today, they have a store in Deerfield, IL, and they boast of having the largest selection of LEGO creations, kits, mini-figures, and the latest that LEGO has to offer.
