We’ve looked at Allure as a Subscription Service here, but let’s take an in-depth look at the July 2024 Beauty Box.

Box Contents:
- Tula Skin Care Glow & Get it (Retail $38) – This is not pictured above because it seems to be missing. I reached out to customer service and they are fantastic, so I’m not too worried about it. This is a highly rated item that I know I would love.
- Flanerie Pore Refining Exfoliator (Retail $52)– Smells wonderful and gently exfoliates. This was a real treat to receive!
- BYROE Golden Carrot Relief Mask Mini Travel Size (Retail $15) – I liked this, but the full-sized product retails for $142! Unless they want to put a full sized one in a future box, I’ll have to make do with what I currently have.
- Malin + Goetz Dark Rum Perfume (Retail $36) – This is pretty strong and a more masculine scent than I prefer. It’s not a bad scent, but I don’t see myself wearing it much. I would have been more interested in Strawberry.
- YSL Beauty Touche Eclat Blur Primer (Retail $56) – This is a fantastic primer and will be my go-to for special occasions now. It has a thick gel-like consistency that I like a lot more than the creamy primers.
NativaSPA Rose Replenishing Body Lotion (Retail $29) – Smells good. It’s rosy and sweet without smelling too artificial, but it’s on the stronger side for a lotion. It absorbs quickly and I’d try this out in other scents, like Vanilla or Quinoa.
Sunday Riley B3 Nice Serum (Retail $65) – This was the new subscriber bonus when I renewed this month. It’s an odd color, but it absorbs quickly with no greasy feel. While I like it, I’d probably buy The Ordinary’s Version instead. Hailey Beiber uses some of their products, so it’s probably good enough for me.
This was an excellent box and I liked it more than the May box. While the fragrance wasn’t my favorite, it was still fun to try it out.
Final Thoughts
Allure boxes tend to be a little less flashy and photogenic than a lot of other beauty boxes, because they aren’t sending out palettes. However, they deliver an amazing value and useful products that I always end up enjoying. I love getting to try higher end brands without having to pay a premium. My skin is going to thank me later!
